THE LIPITUDE JOURNEY
My journey to create a lip balm that didn’t just coat your lips but actually moisturized them started from complete and utter desperation. After working as an Emergency Nurse for 25 years, having cracked, chapped lips had become an occupational hazard.
The dryness of hospital air wreaked havoc on my lips and dry lips became a way of life. I found myself spending a small fortune on different lip balms, lipsticks, and lip glosses. You name it I tried it, all in the name of healthy lips…..and nothing worked. I was introduced to the world of essential oils and organic ingredients by my cousin and it has quite literally changed my life.
For the first time in years, my lips were soft and healthy. I became so immersed in this new world that I began to expand my horizons and create not just clear lip balms but also coloured ones. Why should a balm be restricted to clear? With the use of Mica powder, I have been able to successfully create beautifully pigmented colours that have the look of a lipstick but the benefit of a balm. It’s not just lip balms either! I’ve been working on creating a nose balm (which my fellow healthcare workers know can be beneficial), different colours and scents, as well as a product to help manage Psoriasis.

Lipitude lip balm is cruelty-free and never tested on animals. Just my coworkers in the Emergency Department! After receiving overwhelmingly positive reviews from them, I realized that this was a usable product with a very real demand…. and so Lipitude was born.
Having suffered so many years with dry, chapped lips, it’s my greatest wish that everyone experience the beauty of soft, healthy lips.
